After God’s Own Heart – Eve Scriptures

If you would like to view the original post, please click here.

Today I just wanted to share with you some scriptures that inspired the original posting on Eve. These have the common theme of God’s grace which covers us. All scriptures have been taken from the 1984 NIV Bible from Zondervan publishers.

My prayers is that one of these touches your heart. Please feel free to share these with others.

Romans 5:20-21

“The law was brought in so that the trespass might increase. But where sin increased, grace increased all the more, so that just as sin reigned in death, so also grace might reign through righteousness to bring eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.”

John 1:16

“Out of his fullness we have all received grace in place of grace already given.”

Ephesians 2:8

“For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith – and this is not from yourselves, it is a gift of God.”

2 Peter 1:2

“Grace and peace be yours in abundance through the knowledge of God and of Jesus our Lord.”

James 4:6

“But he gives us more grace. That is why Scripture says: ‘God opposes the proud but shows favor to the humble.'”

2 Corinthians 8:9

“For you know the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, that though he was rich, yet for your sake he became poor, so that you through his poverty might become rich.”

Hebrews 4:16

“Let us approach God’s throne of grace with confidence, so that we may receive mercy and find grace to help us in our time of need.”

2 Timothy 1:9

“He saved us and called us to a holy life – not because of anything we have done but because of his own purpose and grace.”

2 Corinthians 12:9

“But he said to me, ‘My grace is sufficient for you, for m power is made perfect in weakness.’ Therefore I will boast all the more gladly about my weaknesses, so that Christ’s power may rest on me.”
